First take on new song, back to my instrumental hip hop roots, I feel like this one is MF-Doom inspired. However my foray into dubstep has made me focus on bass way more than I used to, so my sound is forever changed. Check out the track here:

travelling around before school starts, saw Prefuse 73 and Gaslamp Killer in Chicago and now I'm in Cleveland for a little bit before I head over to NYC and Baltimore. Making progress on my massive song (taking time with it) and I came up with another bitty I'm happy with and is minimal enough that I will probably finish it first, dubstep without wobble and a very arabic inspired-feel. Need to get home to my turntables and keyboard though before I can really make progress with either.
Also this trip is the first time I've really practiced being mobile, I essentially carry everything I need on me at all times to pull out a DJ set, at least with just ableton. Never know when you run into opportunities trippin about.
Cheers

Flamboyant for life
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
so anyways I'm doing random projects right now, I've made a few dubstep tracks, listened to more dubstep, decided to not like said dubstep tracks so I'm back to making more, along with trying to make another 12-minute instrumental hip hop thing. Tempted to combine the two into one, dubstrumental hip hop? Also some Oberlin house parties have been most excellent so far, Halloween was crazy and this past Saturday across the street from Barrows felt good as well, Safety and Security being very quick this year at times.
